Neverwinter Nights II: Europa.

This blog is dedicated to the players of Neverwinter Nights II and to the world of Europa (Currently in its stage 2 development).

Europa II: The Dark Age is in development. The landscape has been revamped and generated using the terrain builder tool L3DT, with 4 starting cities and a dozen beyond that. E2-tDA will also include over 40 Dungeons of various types, make use of skill-adventuring and have over 60 exterior & 100 interior areas to explore. Europa II takes up where E1 started and takes it to the next level, carrying the content over and adding more... The project is in development and will be continually expanding over the next four years (2011-2015).

4 Cities Ready....

T'is done!
The 4 starting city's structures are built, totaling 53 areas (58 if you factor in the dungeons I have already built). 8 additional areas will be added later to represent the city-home interiors. Those will be built after the cities are placed on their individual terrains as the selection of each home and structure will be dependent on the terrain allowances.

Speaking of terrains, I am afraid that the project may be delayed on its release date of August. I have tried contacting NiceThugbert for some time now, with little to no results. If I can't get a hold of him by the 25th of this month, I will have to drop him from the project. Reliability is paramount on a project this size, and I am not seeing it lately. However, I hope to hear form him soon, he does excellent work and is pleasant to work with and Europa would look stunning with his terrains and my development.

On the other hand, I am learning to delve and develop in L3DT and have successfully built a terrain and imported it into the NWN2 toolset via YATT. Mine are no where as nice as NTB's (LOL) but in time, they will be. In, ALLOT of time that is.

So that is a 'SitRep' for the current month. I'll be decorating the building interiors this month and developing more 'starter' dungeons when time allows it. I'll see if there is more information on how to make and transfer terrains from L3DT to YATT and perfect my skills there too.

Erik.
