Neverwinter Nights II: Europa.

This blog is dedicated to the players of Neverwinter Nights II and to the world of Europa (Currently in its stage 2 development).

Europa II: The Dark Age is in development. The landscape has been revamped and generated using the terrain builder tool L3DT, with 4 starting cities and a dozen beyond that. E2-tDA will also include over 40 Dungeons of various types, make use of skill-adventuring and have over 60 exterior & 100 interior areas to explore. Europa II takes up where E1 started and takes it to the next level, carrying the content over and adding more... The project is in development and will be continually expanding over the next four years (2011-2015).

The game server load test is set for the weekend of February 19th to the 21st.

IF the server can handle the load then I will leave it running and see how much it can take over time...

Ventrillo for Europa players.

We have been given access to a paid ventrillo (voice chat) server, as guests. Hey, it's free! However, there are some rules that MUST be obeyed!

" (*WARNING. Do NOT enter the other chats, they are restricted. If you enter, you will be reported, your IP will be blocked form Vent.

Ventrillo Setup.

(New settings coming soon)

Open Ventrillo and select/create a username.

Add a new Server.

Server Name:

Hostname:

Port #: you must email ME for our individual port.

password: you must email ME for your individual passwords.

connect.

Scroll down to the bottom and double click the chat room: Europa.

- This is the only room we should be in, regardless if you hear others speaking in the common areas. I personally will ban from Europa the CD keys and IP addresses of any Europa player reported to me from the admins of the Ventrillo site. No warnings, and no exceptions.

MAC MotB 1.23 patching fix (potentially)

A potential work around to installing the MotB Expansion after the 1.23 patch update is available. I have made a downloadable version of the missing files MAC players will need to get MotB working so they can join Europa. Player will need to do 2 things:

-1- Read the Bioware posts here. This is a must as the current pkg has no instructions.

-2- Download the compressed NWN2 OC MotB.rar pkg and place the materials where needed.

Cyberpawz has also put together a package for those seeking to play with BOTH expansions (Motb & SoZ). The download may be accessed here. Be aware that you still need valid CD keys for this installation to work.

IMPORTANT: we are not responsible in ANY way, shape or form to the effects, or any possible file/program corruption that should take place...be smart, make a backup before you try.

~YOU WILL STILL NEED A VALID SET OF CD KEYS FOR BOTH THE OC & MotB, WITHOUT IT, THIS WILL NOT WORK~

A VERY Special thanks to 'Zheldon' for his death/respawn script in the vault (I highly recommend it!) and to 'Barry the Hatchet' for his weapons & armor pks, not to mention the Roman helm, shields and quivers you will see in Europa... a true work of art!

CHARACTER NAMES: Although the NWN2 does an excellent job of creating random names, we suggest you look at possible names at the ~Behind The Name~ site. A good name can lead to an interesting character background.
